Children Worldwide

We are a key part of a great Christian charity, Family Foundations Trust, which is devoted to setting the highest standards in Christian ministry, as we work towards our vision to “to see all children, young people and families given every opportunity to build their lives on a strong spiritual and ethical foundation”.

Family Foundations Trust Ltd (FFT) is a registered charity, operating as a company limited by guarantee. FFT is responsible for overseeing the work of Dalesdown Christian Conference and Activity Centre based in West Sussex, and Children Worldwide a support network for Christian children’s workers throughout the UK, also running popular summer camps for children through to young adults. The trustees of FFT meet regularly at Dalesdown.

FFT was formed by joining together two separate charities, both of which grew from the vision of David Iliffe. Children Worldwide was formed in the 1980’s with a vision to pursue and develop Christian ministry for children and young people.

Dalesdown was established as a charity in 1991 with a vision to develop a centre for residential Christian camps and activities.

Following the purchase and development of the current site at Dalesdown, the charities were later brought together as a single entity as Family Foundations Trust.

Family Foundations Trust Ltd is a member of CCI, an association of Christian organisations and individuals involved in camps, holidays, conference and outdoor ministries
